Real Wedding: Brenna and Pete at Castello di Ristonchi- a Tuscan Castle Dream Wedding

The Allure of Destination Weddings

Destination weddings have always been a dream for many couples. The idea of tying the knot in a picturesque location, away from the hustle and bustle, is truly magical. It's not just about the wedding day; it's about creating an entire experience for the couple and their guests.

Introducing Brenna and Pete

From liking each other’s profile to swiping right, Bumble’s perfect match is what led Brenna and Pete to each other. After Pete double-texted Brenna, the couple’s relationship took off, and they’d soon find themselves in Tuscany for their nuptials. Brenna and Pete wanted their wedding to be a reflection of their love and personalities. They began considering a wedding overseas because it would be a unique and memorable experience for the couple and their family members.

Why Castello di Ristonchi?

“The main complaint I hear from people at their wedding is that they don’t remember it, and it goes by too fast,” Brenna says. “So I thought, why not make everyone spend three whole days together in Tuscany?! We will definitely remember that!”

The Venue: Castello di Ristonchi

Historical Significance

Castello di Ristonchi isn't just a venue; it's a piece of history. Dating back to the 12th century, this castle has witnessed countless stories, making it the perfect backdrop for Brenna and Pete's love tale.

Architectural Beauty

With its towering walls, intricate designs, and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, the castle is an architectural marvel. Every corner tells a story.

The Romantic Ambiance

The sun setting behind the hills, the gentle breeze carrying the scent of olive groves, and the soft melodies of Italian ballads create a romantic ambiance that's hard to replicate.

Wedding Festivities

Welcome Dinner

Before the big day, Brenna and Pete hosted a fun "make your own pizza" party for their guests. With a variety of fresh toppings to choose from and the finest wines from the region, it was a delightful evening that set the mood for the festivities to come.

The Wedding Day

The morning had a relaxed atmosphere as the couple and their guests enjoyed breakfast on the terrace together. Brenna, with her bridesmaids, got ready in one of the castle's vintage rooms with a view of the ceremony site. Pete and his groomsmen shared laughs and memories as they suited up in another one of the rooms.

The Ceremony

Held on the castle's lawn overlooking the olive groves with a backdrop of the castle, the ceremony was a dream. With flowers hung on the custom arch and the Tuscan sun casting a golden glow, Brenna and Pete exchanged vows in an intimate setting.

The Reception

As the stunning sunset colored the sky, the castle lit up as well. Fine dining, dancing, and laughter filled the air as the couple celebrated with their loved ones. After a bountiful aperitivo cocktail hour they enjoyed a 4 course meal and delicious cake. As the night progressed, they partied in the "Rave Cave," dancing the night away with an open bar and DJ.

Venue Decoration and Theme

The decor was a blend of rustic charm and elegance. Fairy lights, candles, and floral arrangements transformed the castle into a wedding wonderland.

Post-Wedding Activities

The day after the big party, no one had to travel or wake up early. They had brunch together and stayed another day at the castle. The group enjoyed a pool party with a BBQ and learned how to make pasta from scratch from the castle chefs. Spending time together and not having to rush was a dream come true for this incredible couple. Congratulations Brenna & Pete!
